Nicaragua is known to have many
volcanic mountains and most of these mountains are in active state. The ashes
produced from the lava of these mountains serve as the best natural fertilizer,
since they flow down to coastlines and mix up with the soil of coastal banks
and thus enriching the soil fertility. It has helped the farmers to get food
yield throughout the year.
There are around 25 volcanic
mountains in this country and nine are found to be active from past 2000 years.
Two of such volcanic structures are found located nearby to Granada and Masaya.
Hiking these mountains during night times can be the best and unusual fun which
you can have, in this country.
The night life of Masaya is
lively and bright and hiking the volcanic structure located near Masaya
provides an opportunity to enjoy marvelous night view of Mombacho and Masaya.
You can also enjoy the view of the Laguna de Apoyo lake crater along with
Granada.

as you like, since there are no time restrictions. You can find parking
facility at the base of Masaya mountain and the parking is open from 4pm. You
