Nicaragua’s capital city Managua holds higher position, when it comes to having most of the theaters. These theaters offer different and entertaining performances almost all the time of the year. Some of the well known theatres of Managua are Ruben Dario National Theatre, Victor Romeo Theatre and Justo Rufino Garay Theatre.

Ruben Dario Theatre was constructed and inaugurated in the year 1969. This theatre was considered to be as one among the tallest and fine structures in Managua, at that time and was also known as strongest building, since it thrived through many earthquakes and other natural calamities. The structure has fine arrangements of beautiful hall and seating areas and serves as the best place to organize parties, meetings, conferences, presentations, art exhibitions, fashion shows etc.

The Justo Rufino Theatre was built during the era of revolutionary war. This theatre was named after Sandinista soldier, who actually used the theatre as the means in order to bring people’s attention towards the actual reasons of the war. This theatre is being used as the best place to host International Theatre Festival.
