Wonderful La Isla Ometepe of Lake Nicaragua at Nicaragua

Nicaragua, Central America’s largest country is known far and wide for its scenic beauty and best staying facilities and is successful in attracting the tourists from all over the world.

Granada and Leon are the two colonial cities found located in this country and are considered as one among the most searched places, for touring purposes. By travelling for about 90 minute in a bus you will reach Lake Nicaragua. If you travel farther for about 90 minutes in a ferry ride, you will reach La Isla Ometepe.

La Isla Ometepe is an island and is made by two different volcanoes, Maderas and Concepcion. The island is provided with paved roads, until you reach the other side of the island. The roads are then continued with bumpy and curvy path and hence taking a ferry ride is preferred the most. The tourism industry is trying hard to construct the road even though facing the difficulty due to these volcanic mountains.

Renting motorbikes is the best option, while visiting the island. Unlike all other volcanic structures, Maderas and Concepcion also provide best hiking adventure, along with some kayaking options. You can also visit Rio Istan, where you can plenty of migrating birds, Charco Verde reserve for animals, etc.
